We’re pleased to offer shipping to clients in the lower 48 states of the United States as part of a limited trial, with plans to make this service permanent.
This page outlines shipping details specific to U.S. clients. All standard terms set out in our Shipping & Returns Policy continue to apply unless otherwise stated below.
Currency & Pricing
All charges are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Prices shown in U.S. dollars, where available, are provided as a guide only and will vary based on current exchange rates, as well as your bank or card issuer’s foreign transaction or service fees.
Shipping Rates
Free shipping to the United States is available on orders of $499 CAD or more.
Orders below this threshold ship at a flat rate of $40 CAD.
Local Pickup (Toronto)
Local pickup in Toronto is available by appointment for clients who will be visiting Canada. This option is offered at no additional charge and may be selected at checkout where available.
Please note that all purchases completed via local pickup are transacted in Canada and are subject to applicable Canadian taxes. Clients are responsible for any customs declarations or obligations that may apply when transporting items across borders.
Shipping Origin
Orders may ship from Canada or the United States, depending on item availability and fulfillment requirements.
Taxes, Duties & Cross-Border Fees
U.S. clients are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, tariffs, or other cross-border import or export charges assessed by customs authorities or carriers, both upon delivery to the United States and, in the event of a return, upon re-entry into Canada.
Returns (U.S. Clients)
Returns from the United States are subject to cross-border processing and applicable fees imposed by customs authorities and carriers in either direction.
For U.S. orders, approved refunds are subject to a 7.5% service fee. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Any duties, taxes, customs brokerage fees, carrier advancement fees, or other import-related charges incurred in order for World Jewellery to receive a returned item are the responsibility of the client and will be deducted from the client’s refund.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that return shipments are prepared in accordance with customs requirements and for retaining proof of shipment and any applicable customs documentation for return shipments.
