Customization, Made-to-Order, and Item Availability

Please review all details before placing your order.

Very important: please read all item info very carefully (make sure to fully scroll) for pertinent details such as product availability, whether it’s customized or made-to-order, and to ensure your item matches your expectations. We don’t want you to have any unexpected surprises! In many cases, you will need to select from several customizable options and not selecting these options will mean your item will be ordered as an unfinished piece of jewellery (e.g. missing stones). Other details may include whether the item you are viewing is made-to-order or in stock. Made-to-order and items not currently in stock will require additional time to fulfil your order.

Customized and made-to-order items are non-returnable. Due to the highly customized nature of many of our items, your item may not be returnable. Items with limited availability, limited to quantities on hand, that will no longer be offered, is only available while supplies last, or where backorders are not allowed; as indicated anywhere in the Description, Specifications, Additional Details, or other area of the item’s page are also non-returnable. Please thoroughly review our Shipping & Return Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Here are some other examples of details to be aware of:

For instance, “14K Engagement Ring Mounting” means that a stone or multiple stones need to be selected and manually set, making this a highly customizable experience for our clients. If you decide not to set any stones, then you are simply ordering just the gold setting without any stones.

Other pertinent details will be included on the page, so please pay close attention. For example, it may indicate that the item you are currently viewing needs to be customized in order to complete your item as a finished piece of jewellery.

Scroll down and look at all details. In the following example, you can see that stones are not included with the current state of the item you are looking at. It further indicates what stone options you have for the item. You can decide to either order just the setting (perhaps you have your own stones), or complete your piece by adding stones.

For any items with settings, unless you want to order your item “Unset”, meaning without setting stones, you are required to select “Set Stones” or “Set” for your item and go through all additional steps in the process, where the “Set stones” or “Set” option appears.

If you are unsure about an item’s return eligibility at all, please contact us via email at info@worldjewellery.ca before placing your order, and we will do our best to respond promptly. Kindly ensure you include the item #, typically found underneath the product title, along with any other pertinent details regarding your selection.
